NOW HIRING: FIT Specialist and Social Media Coordinator

We are currently seeking a part-time FIT Specialist and Social Media Coordinator to join our run specialty family.

  • Become a FIT expert and implement your knowledge on the sales floor, and across social media

  • Represent Fleet Feet Burbank’s presence on all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wordpress, GoogleAds)

  • Grow Fleet Feet Burbank’s social following and engagement

  • Stay in the know on current and new social media channels, tools and opportunities

  • Evaluate FFSB’s current social presence, figure out what we can do better, and then do it

  • Plan and own FFSB’s social calendar, striking a balance between marketing messaging and entertaining content

  • Be on top of customer inquiries submitted on our website to ensure all questions and issues are dealt with swiftly

  • Provide insight into our social stats and use them to decide what to do next

  • Collaborate with FFSB’s product reps to brainstorm and support other marketing initiatives as needed

  • Maintain FFSB’s website, making sure it always has current information and working links

  • Prepare a bi-weekly newsletter that links back to our website and encourages a high click rate from our customers

  • Explore options for FFSB to be represented at local races and community events


  • College degree (or equivalent experience working in B2C marketing)

  • 1+ years experience managing active social communities (business or personal)

  • Keen writing skills and a playful sense of humor

  • Passionate about running and instilling a love of health and fitness in others

  • Deep understanding of the current state of social media marketing and the run specialty market

  • Familiarity with SEO, Microsoft Office Applications, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads and Social Media Scheduling Software

  • Ability to work within a given budget

  • Amazing attention to detail; strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and think quickly under pressure

  • Self-motivated and independent worker

  • Basic Photoshop skills and an eye for great photography and imagery

  • Willingness and availability to work nights and weekends if needed

  • Experience working with branded digital assets a plus

  • Run specialty or retail experience a plus
